Since version 4.9.0, the Iptanus File Upload plugin can send uploads to Microsoft OneDrive. Files that your visitors upload are transferred to a OneDrive account of your choosing.
Connecting a OneDrive account
First you need to name the account and give the plugin access to it. Open the plugin’s Settings in the Dashboard:
The Microsoft OneDrive Uploads option shows as not activated, with a Press here button beside it. Pressing it opens a new page or tab, which asks you to choose a Microsoft account and then tells you that “Iptanus File Upload Plugin wants to access OneDrive files and your info“:
Press Allow. The next screen shows a code:
Copy that code into the text box of the Microsoft OneDrive Uploads option in the plugin’s Settings:
Press Finish. The option now reads “Activated”:
Sending a form’s uploads to OneDrive
Add the attribute onedrive=”true” to the plugin’s shortcode. If you prefer the Shortcode Composer, open the Interoperability tab and switch on Upload to Microsoft OneDrive:
The four further options
- The destination folder — the onedrivepath attribute, or Microsoft OneDrive Path in the composer. A folder that does not exist yet is created when the first file arrives. With no path set, files go to the root of the account.
- The user data — the onedriveuserdata attribute, or Include Userdata in the composer. If your upload form collects user data, it is written into the file’s OneDrive description:

- The local copy — the onedrivelocal attribute, set to “delete” or “keep”, or Local File Action in the composer. It decides whether the file stays on your own server once it has been transferred.
- Name clashes — the onedriveconflict attribute, or Conflict Policy in the composer, for when a file of the same name is already in the destination folder. “fail” leaves the uploaded file out of OneDrive; “replace” overwrites the existing file; “rename” gives the new file a different name so that both are kept.
Once OneDrive uploads are switched on, every file uploaded through the plugin is transferred to the account you connected.

I’m not able to connect this to my OneDrive account. When I try, I enter my work e-mail address – for the OneDrive account where all the uploads need to be stored. It won’t recognize it – as if it’s only for Personal OneDrive. Please help! I can’t do this on my personal OneDrive because I don’t have enough storage (besides…this is for work anyway).
Hi, is the OneDrive account you are trying to use a Business one? If yes, go to Advanced tab in plugin’s Dashboard area, locate option Microsoft OneDrive REST End-Point and set it to Graph
