Tuesday, 5-March-2024. New version 4.24.5 of WordPress File Upload plugin has been released.
This is a regular update that introduces a new file uploader shortcode attribute, dropboxduplicates, related to Dropbox uploads. This attribute determines what happens when Dropbox detects that an uploaded file has a filename that already exists. It can auto-rename the uploaded file, or overwrite the existing one.
In addition, version 4.24.5 of WordPress File Upload plugin allows to load templates from a folder outside the plugin. This way the custom templates are preserved after plugin updates. The default external templates folder is located at /uploads/wfu_templates, however it can be customized using External Templates Folder Advanced variable.

Users can update to the latest version using the Update feature of the Plugins section of their Dashboard.
