Plugin document · not this website
Iptanus built the Iptanus File Upload plugin, formerly called WordPress File Upload, as a commercial application. This SERVICE is provided by Iptanus and is intended for use as is.
This page informs visitors of our policies on the collection, use and disclosure of personal information for anyone who uses our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as in our Terms of Service, unless they are defined otherwise here.
Plugin extensions
The Service uses extensions to add to what it can do. Each extension is activated by your own choice, and each may carry its own privacy policy:
- Google Drive Uploads extension: this extension uses the Iptanus File Upload Google Cloud app to send uploads to a Google Drive account. Its privacy policy is the Iptanus File Upload Google Drive App Privacy Policy.
An extension’s privacy policy takes effect when that extension is activated. Where it and this policy differ, the extension’s terms prevail — but only for the personal information the extension itself handles.
Information collection and use
While you use our Service we do not require you to give us any personally identifiable information, unless the privacy policy of an activated extension states otherwise.
The app does use third-party services that may collect information capable of identifying you, unless the privacy policy of an activated extension states otherwise.
Sharing of data
We do not transfer or disclose your information to third parties for any purpose other than those set out here.
Log data
Whenever you use our Service, we collect data and information stored in the website’s database. This log data may include a user ID, the names of uploaded files, the IDs of pages visited, the time of an upload, and data entered into the fields of an upload form.
Additional provisions may apply under the privacy policies of activated extensions.
Cookies
Cookies are small files commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. They are sent to your browser by the websites you visit and stored on your device.
This Service does not use cookies.
Service providers
We do not employ any third-party companies or individuals in our Service, unless the privacy policy of an activated extension states otherwise.
Security
We value your trust in giving us your personal information, and we use commercially acceptable means to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet, and no method of electronic storage, is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Additional provisions may apply under the privacy policies of activated extensions.
Links to other sites
This Service may contain links to other sites. Following a third-party link takes you to a site we do not operate, and we strongly advise you to read its privacy policy. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party site or service.
Children’s privacy
These Services are not addressed to anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has given us personal information, we delete it from our servers immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and you know that your child has given us personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary action.
