WordPress File Upload is back in the wordpress.org listing, under a new name, after a suspension lasting more than six months.
From major version 5 onwards the plugin is called Iptanus File Upload. The change brings it into line with our own strategy and with WordPress’s naming policies.
Getting there meant a long audit by the wordpress.org reviewers, checking the plugin against every legal and security guideline they hold. That audit led to a complete overhaul of its code.
The audit covered the free version, but every change arising from it has been applied to the Professional version as well.
The work is our commitment in practice: continued support for the plugin, and continued adaptation to what security now demands.
Version 5.1.3 of the free version is available now from wordpress.org.
Version 5.1.3 of the Professional version follows in a few days, once the rebranding is finished here on the website and on the Iptanus plugin servers.

Super plugin, I have used this for about a year, so thank you. However, did you know there is a bug in the new version 5.1.3 with WordPress 6.8.3 ? The problem is the file uploader becomes invisible on the page the shortcode is embedded on. I thought clearing cookies worked, but it didn’t. I have gone back to the old version which is working fine. Would you have a solution? Thank you, Shaun
Good morning, are you using any cache plugins? If yes, try clearing the cache. It worked for many users that upgraded to the latest 5.1.3 version.

Hi Sorry to confuse, reading it back sounded like it was fixed, it’s not.
The new version don’t work with current version on Kinsta hosting.
Cleaned cache and cookies.
