Version 2.5.4 of WordPress File Upload has been released. It fixes one significant issue and two smaller bugs.
- It resolves the uploads that were failing with no clear reason. Detailed debug output showed a “Session failed” error, which turned out to be caused by third-party plugins or themes making the page contents evaluate twice or more on reload. It appeared at random in most cases.
- It fixes a bug where a filename changed by the wfu_before_file_upload filter was not carried through to email notifications and redirects.
- It fixes a bug where, if two large files were uploading at once and one of them lost a chunk, the progress bar never reached 100% and the failed file was not marked as cancelled.
If you have the Professional version, sign in to your Iptanus account, open your order and download the new file. If you have the free version, update it from the Plugins page of your Dashboard.
Updates to the Professional version are free and unlimited.
