Version 2.5.4 of WordPress File Upload plugin has just been released.
This release resolves some important issues and minor bugs. More in detail:
- It resolves an issue that several users faced with failed uploads due to unknown errors. More detailed debug info was returning a “Session failed” error. This error was mainly due to 3rd party plugins or themes that were causing the page content to evaluate two or more times on reload. The error was appearing randomly in most cases.
- It resolves a bug not applying new filename, which has been modified with wfu_before_file_upload filter, in email notifications and redirects.
- It resolves a bug where when 2 big files were uploaded at the same time and one failed due to failed chunk, then the progress bar would not go to 100% and the file would not be shown as cancelled.
