This is a regular update that brings several improvements in webcam capture feature of the plugin.
The most important ones are:
- Better support of devices, especially mobile phones and tablets.
- It can operate together with the selection of files by activating the new shortcode attribute Allow File Selection. If the selected file is an image, it will be shown inside the webcam capture box.
- A camera switch button can be added on the capture box by activating the new shortcode attribute Switch Camera Button. With this button the user can switch between the front and rear camera of their device.
- Better adjustment of the video window and captured screenshot inside the capture box.
Furthermore, version 4.22.0 of WordPress File Upload plugin has corrected some bugs in the Alternative Iptanus Server, which caused problems with RecaptchaV2 (no account) captcha option and plugin auto-updates when Use Alternative Iptanus Server in plugin’s Settings was enabled.
