On version 4.17.0, Extensions page was added in the Dashboard area of WordPress File Upload plugin.

This page displays all the extensions installed with the plugin.

Administrators can activate/deactivate an extension individually, by pressing the relevant Activate/Deactivate button of that extension.

All extensions are active by default. However, there might be occasions where it is necessary to deactivate one or more, in order to avoid conflicts with other plugins or the theme, or for troubleshooting purposes.

  • Dear Sir, can you please explain how the elementor page builder compatibility is achieved?
Don’s see any new widget added?

    Thanks in advance
    Regards

    1. The plugin does not currently provide a widget for Elementor, only for the block editor of WordPress (Gutenberg). However, you can add a shortcode widget inside Elementor page builder and place the plugin’s shortcode in there, e.g. [wordpress_file_upload].

      Best Regards

      Nickolas

  • Hello, fantastic plugin! Does exactly what we need it to do and well worth the upgrade to the pro version!

On initial installation, the only extensions that showed as installed and active were Elementor and NextGen. I am trying to install the Dropbox extension but when clicking on install, it doesn’t appear to actuall innstall it and the button is returned to “install”.

Could you advise where we’re going wrong please?

    Many thanks!
