New version, 3.2.1 of WordPress File Upload plugin has just been released.

This version improves the File List Viewer of the Pro edition, by enabling filtering of the listed files. Now administrators can define, using the Shortcode Composer or by manually editing the shortcode, the list of files that the user will see. Filtering can be done based on role, user, file size, file upload date, file extension, page or post, blog and custom user fields. A separate tab has been added in Shortcode Composer called ‘Filters‘ containing all these options.

  • Hi, I am developing a website for our school’s PTA. We would like a file uploader that allows parents to load pictures from school events for submission to the yearbook coordinators. Our issue is security. We want the parent to only be able to see the files they upload and not to be able to download any files that are currently uploaded. Can this plugin do this?
